In just a short 6 months period, Outlook.com leaves the preview mode after crossing 60 million users. This, in my opinion, is considered a great achievement. Microsoft also announced that Microsoft.com is officially available for all.

Additionally, every Hotmail user will soon be able to upgrade to the new Outlook.com by Q3 of this year. The upgrade will be seamless and instant for all Hotmail users. There will be no disruption in service, so you do not need to sign up for a new Outlook.com account to enjoy the new features.
