Instagram is moving from mobile experience to the web. From today, you can view your Instagram feed from the comfort of your browser. So, when you sign in your account, you will be able to see your friends’ Instagram feed.

This does not come as a surprise. In 2012, they introduced Instagram Profile and they started to allow Instagram pictures to be view on the web. So, I think this should be the next step.

This is actually a great move as I can save some battery juice from now on. And the pictures are much bigger on the computer screen. However, one bad point about this is that any “defects” on the picture will be amplified. Previously, it will not be obvious but now it will.

BTW, do not expect Instagram will allow you to upload pictures from the web. There is no plan and they have stated clearly in their blog post.
