Mozilla Firefox OS Phone Keon and Peak coming soon (Video)

Mozilla is partnering with Telefonica to come up with two phone models (Keon and Peak – by Geeksphone) on a totally new Firefox OS that will be in the hand of developers very soon.

Firefox OS is a new mobile operating system built entirely using open web standards. In Firefox OS, HTML5 apps can do “phone things” – they can make the phone vibrate, make a phone call or send a text message.

Here are the specs of the two phones: Keon and Peak

The Keon model

  • Camera 8 MP (back) + 2 MP (front).
  • 4 GB (ROM) and 512 (RAM).

  • Battery 1800 mAh
