M1 3G network restored, gives 3 days free call during Lunar New Year

M1_LogoM1 sent out an official statement that their 3G network has fully been restored. And because of the inconveniences caused, M1 is providing free local mobile call during the Chinese New Year (or Lunar New Year period. I am sure many will be asking for more based on the “noise” heard during these 3 days.

In the statement, there was no mention of what their countermeasure will be or if there will be an investigation or not. It did not address the fear of the consumers by providing a backup plan. Nevertheless, I am sure an inquiry is on-going judging the impact of this outage.

Here is the Press Statement.
