10 more StarHub TV Anywhere channels from 18th December 2012

You may have heard of TV Anywhere from StarHub. I have been talking about them since the launch. From the miserable 10 channels at start, it has grown to become 36 channels from 18th December 2012.

Catch 10 More Exciting StarHub Channels on TV Anywhere

– TV Anywhere to offer 36 channels: triple since launch-

Singapore, 14 December 2012 – StarHub has announced the addition of 10 more channels on www.starhubtv.com, from 18 December. These additions bring the total number of channels on TV Anywhere to 36, a threefold increase from 12 available at its launch in June this year. All 36 channels are offered to StarHub TV customers as part of the TV Anywhere service.

The 10 new channels – including five new High Definition (HD) channels – have something for everyone: kids and comedy fans, drama aficionados and sports fanatics. They are Cartoon Network (StarHub TV CH 316), Toonami (StarHub TV Ch 315), momoKids Asia (StarHub TV Ch 321), Discovery Science (StarHub TV Ch 423), and China Business Network (StarHub TV Ch 809), while the HD channels are Comedy Central Asia HD (StarHub TV Ch 563), Discovery HD World (StarHub TV Ch 461), and KBS World HD ((StarHub TV Ch 875). To provide customers with a superior viewing experience, Travel Channel HD (StarHub TV Ch 473) and Ginx HD (StarHub TV Ch 475) will also be introduced to the TV anywhere line-up, replacing their Standard Definition (SD) versions that are currently available.

With 36 channels readily accessible on TV Anywhere, customers can look forward to catching a buffet of exciting channels like KMTV (StarHub TV Ch 846), a round-the-clock Korean channel with a focus on music and live performances, variety shows and idol dramas, and Comedy Central Asia HD, Singapore’s first and only 24-hour all-comedy channel. Viewers can also enjoy the latest TVB titles such as The Confidant and Witness Insecurity on demand.

To add icing to the cake, starting today (14 December), StarHub TV customers subscribing to the Sports Group will gain full access to the exciting action on ESPN channels via ESPN Player on TV Anywhere. ESPN Player showcases an entire suite of sports coverage to allow sports fans to catch up on their favourite sport at their convenience, or enjoy ‘live’ broadcasts of F1, La Liga and College Baseball.

Similarly, StarHub TV customers subscribing to the Fox Movies Pack and the STAR Chinese Movies Pack, get to enjoy equivalent access to the latest Hollywood and Asian blockbuster movies, concerts, acclaimed original series, and award-winning Asian documentaries on FOX Movies Play and STAR Movies Play respectively via TV Anywhere.

StarHub TV customers can access their favourite channels on any Internet-enabled PC, Mac or selected mobiles devices via starhubtv.com. TV Anywhere is open to StarHub TV customers only. Users need to login to www.starhubtv.com using a Hub ID that is linked to their existing StarHub TV account. The service is complimentary until 31 December 2013.
