Singapore – July 19, 2012 – Trend Micro Incorporated (TYO: 4704; TSE: 4704), a global cloud security leader, announced today, it will be bringing back its highly successful Cloud Security conference to Singapore in August this year. The conference will be held on August 15 at the Raffles City Convention Centre.
CloudSec 2012 promises an ideal environment to business leaders’ as they debate and discuss with visionaries, analysts, researchers the enigma of the Cloud landscape and exchange strategies, and best practices that shape the Cloud landscape of tomorrow.
The migration to public cloud services is one of the hottest topics in IT this year and the demand for cloud computing and cloud security services is growing. According to the Singapore Cloud Adoption Study commissioned by IDA in April 2012, Singapore is leading ASEAN in terms of cloud adoption and maturity. While enterprises look towards cloud computing to achieve business agility and lower costs of operation, IDG Research confirms, security to be the biggest obstacle to cloud adoption.
Titled around the theme “Have a Safe Journey”, the event aims to tackle CIO concerns around cloud security, availability and data security in the cloud. The event attempts to inspire managers and users of cloud computing to adopt the best practices and technologies to secure their physical, virtual and cloud infrastructures efficiently and effectively.
