2nd Generation

Some call it the LG PRADA II or by its model KF900. It looks the same as the pioneer except with the addition of the keyboard. The phone’s features include 3G connectivity, five mega-pixel auto-focus camera with flash, slow motion video recording, Wi-Fi, HSDPA with speed up to 7.2Mbps, a full HTML browser, video calling capabilities and more. The watch is linked via Bluetooth and user can see missed call, contacts or text messages.

3rd Generation

PRADA Phone by LG 3.0

The PRADA Phone by LG 3.0 needs no introduction. Launched in Singapore recently, it is the first time LG is using Android as the OS on PRADA phone. You can check out the Press Release here.

As with the other 2 generation, this PRADA Phone by LG 3.0 is based on minimalist look. Here is the initial sketch of the phone.

Specifications

  • Operating System: Google® Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)
  • Processor: 1.0 GHz Dual-Core/Dual-Channel/Dual Memory
  • Network: HSPA+ 21Mbps
  • Dimensions: 127.5 x 69 x 8.5 mm

  • User Memory: Up to 8GB internal + micro SD
  • Battery: 1540mAh (typical value) Li-Ion

As you can see from the above specs, it features a NOVA Plus display. Based on my few encounters with the phone, the screen with NOVA display is very bright and I don’t see a problem for anyone to use it under bright daylight. This PRADA Phone by LG 3.0 is also the thinnest among the three of them. At 8.5mm, you can slip it into the pocket even though it may have a 4.3-inch screen.

I am waiting for my review set. In the meanwhile, you can check out the pictures and 1st look from the event with the link below

And last but not least, you got to check out its PRADA accessories. I love the dock. Very cool with that minimalist look.

That is it. Summary of three generation of LG PRADA phones. Hope you like it. I was wondering if anyone of you would buy a phone because of the brand or would you rather buy a super high end (high specs) phone instead. Let me know how you feel.

I know some would jump at the moment they heard that it is from PRADA while many of us will be thinking of the specifications rather than the branding. Which class do you belong to?
