Alderbaran’s Nao is not a new humanoid robot in the market. This robot has been overhauled with better performance and response. Now, it has 2 HD cameras for face and object recognition. 4 mics for better sound reception, better optimized walking algorithms and can now break a fall just in case someone did not notice it.
It is now powered by a 1.6GHz Atom CPU processor and as an improved Nuance voice recognition. The physical look is still the same, as cute as ever. I love its joints and the small little fingers that actually works.
