Nippon Electric “Invisible Glass” Lets Lights Pass Through It

For those who hate the glare from your mobile phones or gadgets in the sun, this might be the solution. Nippon Electric Glass, touted as the invisible glass, reflects only 0.5% of the light, making it almost “invisible” in bright light.

Normal glass reflects 8% of the light causing the glare. With the new glass at 0.5%, it greatly reduces the glare. According to source, the company has developed a new type of vitrine that reduces glare by using a special film on each side of the substrate, which allows more light to pass through the layers rather than bounce off the surface.

There is no mentioned of when this glass will be available.
