Nokia E7 Physical Look – Video Within

As you may already know, Singapore is selling Nokia E7 since 19th February. Its official launch was in 23rd February. I could not make it but luckily, Nokia has organized a bloggers session on the 24th February. Here is my short encounter with Nokia E7.

First of all, the outlook seems similar to N8 (if the keyboard is not slide out).

However, you can easily notice that it is bigger in size (it has a 4-inch Gorilla Screen). As with the N8, it has anodized casing which, in my opinion, makes it looks more sturdy and heavy.

Here are the side profile of the Nokia E7 with the keyboard slide out.

The keyboard is well spaced. However, I have difficulty typing fast because the spacing is a little different. It looks okay but when I start to type fast, G and H, B and N will cause me to type wrongly. I guess I need to get some time to adjust to the keyboard.

But on the soft keyboard, I tend to perform better.

Overall, the feel of the keyboard is solid. And one thing to comment is the slider for the keyboard. It is very solid too. However, I had some difficulty to slide the keyboard. It takes some practice.

As you can see below, there is a support for the back when the keyboard is out. It is very well-made and when you return the keyboard, you will hardly feel that there is a keyboard for this phone.

On closer inspection.

This is the SIM card slot.

This is when I take out the SIM card.

Some other views of Nokia E7.

The Nokia E7 has a single button on the front.

It is a pity that it has only a 8-Megapixel camera and it is not Carl Zeiss lens.

But luckily it retains the HDMI output and the OTG cable (which is basically a USB port that can read thumbdrive).

I did a short video on the physical look of Nokia E7.

I think that is all. Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures as they are taken in low light and high ISO.
