The Shaving Helmet and Behind the Scene – Video Within

The Shaving Helmet is meant to be an invention to shave your head by wearing it. It is quite convincing. You see a person wearing it and after 20 secs, he had a nice shave. Watch the behind the scene on how they did it.

Here is the video.

And here is the spoiler. The video is a viral video made by a marketing company.

HeadBlade hired viral marketing agency Thinkmodo http://thinkmodo.com to create an engaging and entertaining video to get people talking about head shaving. Thinkmodo created “The Shaving Helmet” which quickly became a global viral sensation and sparked conversations about head shaving around the world. Hundreds of TV news shows, radio programs, websites, blogs, and forums posted “The Shaving Helmet” and asked, “What if this actually worked?”.

The helmet was made using HeadBlade Sport razors designed for shaving your head. It was fabricated by top New York City special effects company, Clockwork Apple.

But I must say it is a real shocker to see that it “works”. The video went viral and within a few days, it garners more than 800K views.

Here is the behind the scene video.

    Haha. Nicel

Actually I sort of guessed it’s fake when watching the video. Cause it’s pretty hard to exert the right force to shave without cutting the person. And the way that the camera move away from the person is suspicious.

But hey, its pretty well done. Singapore need to learn from them

DK: Yalor.. but it definitely makes people think about the blades inside the helmet. That, I think, has already achieve their marketing objective.
