The New Generation of Cisco Flip MinoHD (120 mins)

The all-new Cisco Flip MinoHD™ shoot and share camcorder is the perfect combination of sleek design, ease of use and high-definition video quality. It comes in a compact design with a stylish and durable brushed metal finish that fits easily into a shirt pocket or a clutch bag. Users can capture video anywhere, from parties, weekend getaways or even at interviews.

The new generation of Cisco’s Flip MinoHD™ shoot and share camcorder gives users up to two hours of HD quality recording capacity, a bright two-inch transflective screen for no-glare viewing even in direct sunlight, and an HDMI jack for direct input to HD televisions with an HDMI cable.

FlipShareTM – Organise, Create and Share

Like all Cisco Flip Video™ shoot and share camcorders, the new Cisco Flip MinoHD™ (120mins) comes preloaded with FlipShare™ software which is installed directly on a PC or Mac the first time the device is plugged in.

Once loaded, users can easily edit, organise or make movies with music, and then share their videos by emailing friends and family, or publish videos directly to YouTube™ or MySpace™. Not only can users create videos instantly and easily to capture the moment, they can also share that moment as it happens through FlipShare™.

The latest version of FlipShare™ will allow users to upload their videos to directly Facebook™ and  its Flip Channels feature will provide a simple way to share Flip content — both video and snapshots — with many different groups such as friends, family, classmates or teams. Flip for Good

As part of the unveiling of the Flip brand and Flip MinoHD™, Cisco today announced the first “Flip for Good” initiative for Asia Pacific to start off in Singapore with plans to expand it to Oceania and other parts of Southeast Asia in the next 12 months. Originally launched in 2007, the programme is a donor-matching initiative designed to put the power of online video sharing to work for non-profit organisations worldwide to help achieve their goals.

At the launch of the programme, Cisco announced special projects with Habitat for Humanity and World Vision Singapore. The company also named Nathaniel “Nat” Ho as the first Flip for Good ambassador for Singapore.

The programme worldwide has supported more than 1,200 charitable organisations working across a diverse set of causes including youth development, poverty alleviation, conservation, and more. It aims to empower individuals and social entrepreneurs to use their social influence and outreach to help share moving stories and change the world.
