Singtel is Ready for iPhone 4?

While surfing the Telcos’ website, I decided to try my luck to see if any Telcos is preparing for  iPhone4. Seems like Singtel is almost ready for iPhone 4. It is saying that it is in the final phase of the talk with Apple. What do you think?

    That’s the URL I got that states the same message from Singtel as the above posted. Found it by searching Google.

    I believe Singtel is preparing for the simultaneous release of the iPad and iPhone 4, thus the MicroSIM introduction. They can’t lose out to M1 or Starhub.

    What I’m concerned about are the promotions/exceptions all three Telcos are willing to make regarding 3G/3GS upgrades. Most of us are still in the 2yr contract, considering Apple’s product release cycle is 6mths~. Handset upgrades still require some additional costs. Considering all of the Telcos heavily subsidised the 3GS.

    AT&T iPhone contract customers can upgrade to in iPhone 4 with no extra cost if their contract ends anytime in 2010.

    Highly doubtful, yes, but I remain optimistic.
