Scalado Photowall Technology Demonstration on iPad and HTC Desire – Video Within

Today, I finally visited CommunicAsia 2010. Managed to get good chat with a few companies with their latest technology. One of them that really impress me is Scalado. Its technology of image processing and application is really going to help mobile devices.

I have to thank Tomas (Sweden Mobile Association)(we met at Huawei booth. Both of us are interested in the Huawei Tablet) who brought me to Scaldo to meet up with their founder, Fadi Abbas.

Thanks to Fadi, I am able to appreciate their effort in coming up with a technology that I think will benefit mobile devices.  With camera taking pictures in Megabyte size, it will be taxing on the processor of mobile devices to display images quickly.

With Scalado technology, it is able to open up images  fast without a lag. Fadi told me that the patent for their technology can be found on the Internet. I think I found it.

With their technology, they hope to market it as a SDK package so that manufacturers of mobile devices can customize it with Scalado expertise. I have upload a video that demonstrate the technology.

    Bought a new Desire about a month ago as a business cellphone however am very disappointed , firstly i would have about 900 contacts on my previous XDA and was able to view by business or personal, not so on Desire only by personal which is of no use particularly with no search option either. Android 2.2 is intended to have search facility but not different view option launch date seems to differ each time . Battery pretty good approx 18 hrs medium usage. Wireless bluetooth poor, paired with parrott car kit ok for day or so however won’t connect even by unpairing and pairing new, same issue with bluetooth headset……..any ideas
