Microsoft New Display Shows 3D Without Special Glasses

Microsoft has make 3D viewing without those bulky 3D glasses a step closer to reality. Currently, viewing without 3D glasses may be possible but viewers must stand at correct position for best 3D effect. However, Microsoft new display is able to track your position and thus deliver 3D images to you even when you move around.

To do this, Microsoft developed a Wedge shaped lens that is integrated into a LCD display. This Wedge shape lens can precisely control the light emitting out from it. And, with a camera at the bottom, it is able to track the viewers and provide stereoscopic video directly into their eyes.
