LG’s New LED Monitor Promotion Lets Users Share Their Sincerity with 2 Million Friends Worldwide

Launching its superb new E40 and E50 monitors, LG issues a worldwide call for touching stories with the promise of attractive prizes including LG monitors, S$4,000 travel voucher and the grand prize of a Volkswagen POLO 1.4

Singapore, May 26, 2010 – Marking the arrival of its new LED monitors series, the E40 and E50, LG Electronics Business Solutions (LG), today launched Sincerity, an online campaign(http://sincere.lge.com) that aims to elicit and share touching stories from LG consumers around the world.

“The LG LED ‘Sincerity’ campaign will be conducted in 9 countries, with people sharing 2,073,600 sincere messages, one for each pixel on our new monitors,” said Brian Kwon, Vice President of LG Business Solutions Company. “We hope people will re-think the meaning of ‘sincerity’ in their friendships by participating in this campaign, and have a chance to learn about LED technology and LG’s devotion to its consumers as symbolized by the more than 2 million pixels on these new monitors.”

Sincerity Shared, Prizes Won

As part of the Sincerity campaign, which ends on June 29 this year, participants will be asked to “show their sincerity” by leaving on the campaign’s website moving personal stories or their own personal reflections on what sincerity means.

Smartphone users can take part in this event through their phones. Using Pixel Soldiers, i-Phone and Android Phone users can contribute their sincere stories by simply tapping them into their phones. Smartphone users can also download “wallpaper” containing their own sincere stories.

Each participant will be allotted one of 2,073,600 pixels, which will collectively form a full picture with as many pixels as LG’s new LED monitors.

During the promotion, LG will display selected messages on advertising boards or landmarks in the writer’s home country. Better still, those winners will also receive one of a range of fantastic prizes, including LG LED LCD Monitor E2350V (30 winners), LG Seamless Monitor E2380VX (20 winners), a S$4,000 travel voucher and the grand prize of a Volkswagen POLO 1.4.

Terms & Conditions:

– The said prize of a car shall exclude COE, Registration Fees, Radio License, In-Vehicle Unit, Number Plate, Insurance, Road Tax, Radio License and any miscellaneous cost and expenses.
