Sony Ericsson has made its own API on maps and shown on Xperia X10. In this case, it is a 3D map that is powered by SAAB spinoff company, C3 Technologies. It is just a proof of concept but if this works nicely, it will be great. Video after the break.
Although the interface is not that nice yet, the concept of using 3D maps is a breath of fresh air.
