A few days ago, many of us were issued a statement from Google addressing the 3G Connectivity Issue. It seems to me that it is just some settings issue. However, today, I saw Engadget’s post on how T-Mobile is giving tips to its support team on how to address the issue.
I love their first tip, “Do not transfer customers to HTC..”. However, it makes me wonder if our 3G connectivity issue is completely different from US.
If they are the same, isn’t it easy to solve? What do you think?

No they are not. The coverage in Singapore is good enough. The problem usually lies in the incorrect settings of the APN. Whenever you have a “3G blackout” in Singapore, first thing is to reset your phone, and check the APN settings.

I see. Does that means that in US, even they set the APN properly, they still suffer from 3G connectivity issue?
One big differences that I see on Nexus One is it is sold by Google and not telcos. Therefore, the auto configuration(that Singapore handsets usually have) for Telco is not there.
If it is just APN issues, it should be very easy, right?
