Remember the post some weeks ago, about Creative planning to announce a phone in Creative Zii Summit in China? Well, the phone has finally been revealed. Creative called it the Trinity phone that has Zii platform inside it, runs on Android OS and plays 1080p video!
This may change future phone specs as more and more people are watching videos, live streaming on their phones. The Trinity phone sports a 3.1-inch capactive touchscreen and it actually has a dual OS (Android OS and Creative ZiiLabs Plazma OS).

In my opinion, this may be the big break for Creative. When Creative created Sound Blaster sound card, it actually sets the standard of sound card on PC. Now with ZiiLABS Trintiy phone, it may again set the standard of future phone. I am looking forward to the day I can ditch my computer and perform every task on a mobile device

No release date. But I think the Trinity is just a concept phone that ZiiLABS wants to tell/convince the World the potential of their chipset and Plazma software.
If you read their Press Release, there is already a Zii Mobile development kit.
“A Zii Development Kit ‘3G Phone Edition’ provides a modular development platform that enables developers the flexibility to innovate around the Zii TRINITY platform to create product solutions based on their own preference of hardware components. The Zii Development Kit supports both the ZMS-05 and the recently announced ZMS-08 processors. ”
I think Creative is looking at the BIG picture.

What is the unique feature of this phone?

It is the Creative chipset ZMS-05 and their Plazma OS software that is unique to this phone. It can play HD movies which is also a very nice feature.
