HTC HD2 Unboxing – Video Within

Posted on 28 October 2009 by Joe Teh

How I wish it is me that is doing the unboxing :) . Anyway, since the official announcement of HTC HD2 a few weeks ago, many people have been waiting anxiously for the set to arrive at their shore. Based on the trend, I am predicting that Singapore may be getting it next month or worst case, December (Remember, my prediction only :) ). Anyway, this post is about the unboxing. I am wondering if the one shown in the video is the final packaging for HTC or not.

I like the way the battery is pre-installed into the HD2. This saves some space and also let the user know how to install the battery properly.

Here is the video. Enjoy and envy..

Hey Joe, I believe that will be the final packaging HTC will use, except that it’ll be printed with HD2’s images and specs. Reason is simple, HTC Hero has the same packaging, even the battery was pre-installed.

    Hey, Zane,

Really? That is good! I think HTC packaging is getting better. To me, the smaller the better. I wonder if there will be any MicroSD card that comes with HD2?

  3. Zane Lee Says:

Well, Hero came with 2gb. I’m sure the final packaging would include at least 2gb as well, since it’s the benchmark now. By the way, I’m really enjoying me Hero, even subscribed to SingTel’s Broadband on Mobile 30gb. I’m typing this comment on my Hero.

Wow.. that is good! 30 GB is a lot if you only use it for surfing. :)

Well, I use my Hero to tether to my laptop for downloads. School network blocks torrents and stuff. Plus it’s only $28 for 30gb, while 10gb is around $20. I’d rather buy more than having to pay exorbitant rates for excess usage.

The hspa uplink is faster than my home broadband. I used 1gb of data for a 500mb torrent on the first day it was uploading at 100kb/s while the download wasn’t as fast. It’s good since most of us want the fast upload for uploading photos to Twitter and Facebook on the go.
