iRobot, famous for its robot vacuum cleaners, is doing something out of the world. Imagine a shape shifting robot that morph into the surrounding. iRobot is working with DARPA to come out with something like that. They used a technology they called Jamming. It uses a simple theory of introduction of air to enable shape changing and removal of air to fix the shape. Difficult to explain here. Watch the video after the break.
