Typhoon Morakot has damaged the Asia-Pacific Cable Network 2 submarine cable system through which bytes of information travel.
So, if your website is hosted in United States (like TechieLobang) or in Taiwan, there will be delay. Work as begin to restore the cable, according to Singtel.
However, thinking about it. What is the temporary slow Internet connection speed as compared to the many lives that were lost in this Typhoon. My condolences to the people who had suffered because of Typhoon Morakot.
