Apple latest iPhone 3G S will not be out in Singapore until later this year. However, Singtel is already asking consumers to register their interest on this phone so that they can inform them on the pricing and availability via SMS or email.
Singtel had used this tactic for the first iPhone 3G launch a year ago. Anyway, you will need to fill in a bit of details for them. E.g. NRIC number, address, current service provider and etc. I wonder why they need to know these information when it states that they just want to update the pricing and Singapore Launch details.
