HTC Touch 3G Review – Weather App – Video Within

Posted on 21 December 2008 by Joe Teh

HTC Touch 3G Application is one of the coolest I have seen. After messing it for a while, I think this application is pretty much straight forward. If you had noticed, I always try to see if the application needs a techie to use or not. This is important because a phone app should not be so complicated for daily use.

The HTC Weather App is nice on the interface. In this version of HTC Touch 3G, it has a 4 days forecast of the weather. This is quite nice actually.

One of the concern that I have is that it does not have an option to use WiFi to update the weather. Although HTC is kind enough to say that if you use the auto update function, it will incur data cost.

Update: You can synchronise with your data cable and WiFi and update the weather without incurring data charges. Thanks to CIG for the information.

There is function to add and remove location (cities). However, take note that when removing location, it will just remove the location of the city that you are looking at. No other option available.

Here is a short video that I made.

    Hi, CIG,

Thanks. I missed out this part. After I realised that it can be synchronised through cable, it will be able to update through WiFI. Sorry for the mistake.
