CINEMIN MICRO PROJECTORS

Cinemin Video Projectors (Stick, Swivel, and Station) - Tiny handheld video projectors that are about the size of a pack of cigarettes that use Texas Instrument’s high end DLP technology for crisp, clear, video and picture display.

The Stick interfaces with your Apple iPod or iPhone to display video and picture content you have stored.

SPYBALL WIFI WEB CAM

A mobile spycam that can transform back and forth between being a rollable ball and a wheel based webcam that can make nimble fast turns in any direction.

You can access the Spyball directly through an ad hoc WiFi connection (802.11 b/g) using a PC, many video game consoles, and some cell phones without the need for making the unit accessible via the Internet.

However, if you do desire remote web access to SpyBall it is possible to do so using more advanced configuration methods. Spyball is little brother to WowWee’s autonomous self-navigating Rovio mobile spybot.

JOEBOT

Joebot is WowWee’s follow-on robot to Femisapien, their first ever female robot.

Joebot sports the same nimble dance moves with the ability of learning song tempos directly from you and can also beatbox too.

You teach Joebot tempos by clapping in the air, tapping on a table, or tapping on his arm cables. When he dances he will use that tempo to time his movements using his dance routine and add some variation to the dance each time you trigger it.

He can also guard, patrol, talk to you, and is the first WowWee robot to respond to a limited set of voice commands. You interact with him using the controls embedded in his hands, or through the use of the infrared remote control that belongs to the original Robosapien robot.

Finally, he can engage you in Battle Mode where he will fire harmless shots from his arm mounted LEDs with accompanying theatric noises and gestures.

In addition, you can use a common infrared television remote control to duel with him and “shoot” him, which will trigger humorous, overly dramatic responses from him.

He also has tilt sensors that let him know when he has fallen over and has an autonomous wandering mode.

ROBOROVER

Roborover is WowWee’s successor to their popular Tri-Bot robot but instead of having wheels, he is WowWee’s first robot to sport tank style treads.

He has a fun personality that starts out shy. As you play with him his voice and dialogue changes to sound more confident (the personality resets when you turn him off or put him in one of his other operation modes).

He can play driving and navigation games like Tri-Bot but but they are noticeably faster paced and more exciting.

He has tilt sensors that let him know when he has fallen over, light sensors that trigger his headlights when a room becomes dark, and has an autonomous wandering mode.

This is really latest news from Macworld, which introduces the latest family in the MacBook range. Let’s welcome the 17-inch Macbook from Apple.

There are a slew of eco-friendly initiatives in this model plus it boost a super long battery life.

The specs are amazing too:

• Three USB, FireWire 800
• the new glass trackpad
• 2.93 Core 2 Duo processors
• up to 8GB of memory at 1GHz DDR3
• Dual integrated/discrete GeFore 9400M and 9600M GT
• Standard 320GB drive, up to 256GB SSD
• 1920 x 1200 LED backlit display

The battery has a lifespan of 5 years due to the new technology used. It is a non removable battery with 40% increased in size but with the same weight. Because of the 3x recharge cycles, the batteries have longer lifespan. The best part is that it can last 8 hours.

Did I mention to you that Apple is going Green? Here are the things that are created on this new 17-inch Macbook that is really environmental friendly.

Wow! I think this direction from Apple is really nice.

Apple Steve Jobs introduces to the World, the MacBook with NO keyboard but a wheel (aka like an iPod) on the center. As weird as it may seem, it actually works (but I guess you will need many hours or days to get use to).

I don’t know how to explain how this thing works. It is best that you view the below video for the best understanding of this MacBook Wheel

The press release did not say much about this X320. However, Engagdet managed to “dig” more information from their Chinese counterpart.

Seriously, I just don’t see the link in StemCell Computing with those screenshots. BTW, these screenshots might be faked!

I really hope that Creative can come up with a product that can “wow” the world. They have done it once (Sound Blaster Card) and it has been a long time to be under the shadow of Apple.

However, looking at the recent news that they have axed thousands of employee due to the company overall performance, I really have doubt that they can pull that trick anymore.

I think the manual must have documented this somewhere. But if you are like me who don’t like to read the manual, here are some simple steps to turn on this Quick List.

For those who may already know, if you press the “End Call” button (one of the 4 little buttons in a row, extreme right), you will be able to lock your device immediately.

But, by pressing the same key, you can actually call up the Quick List. How? Follow the below steps and you can have it in a minute.

• Go to Settings (Press Start, select Settings)
• In the Personal Tab, press Buttons (as shown below)

• Next, at the Buttons Page, move the tab to End Key (as shown below)

• Select “Always Display the Quick List”

That is it! The Quick List is activated. I find it useful as I regularly “Push Mail” and this Quick List will allow me to Terminate my Data Connection easily.
