This is my first time to hear this.. this lady who is an employee of some Apple Store had a party at her apartment. A few weeks later, she loses a few thousand dollars worth of electronics stuff including her new Mac. A few days later, her friend saw her online and quickly informed her. As she is using the Leopard OS X with “Back to my Mac”, she remotely activated her photo both with the screen share function. It turns out that the thieves are some friends from the party. She took the pictures to the police and they were caught..
Fom Engadget, the thieves Edmon Shahikian, 23, and Ian Frias, 20, both of the Bronx, have been charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
