This is one of the weirdest phone that I come across. It has a two fold hinges that can open up the phone with 3 full screen. You will get the usual touch screen, the keyboard and the unusual screen that has some of the keys that is separated from the keyboard. BTW, it is medical phone that has a hotline button to activate emergency call numbers and it has also medical guide to aid a person to perform medical help immediately.

Watch the video after the break.

The phone will go to Thailand (pretty soon) and then UK (March/April 2009). The price is not cheap at about US$1000. Here’s another two more shot of the phone.

Now, you must be wondering about the specification of this phone.

I seriously thinks that the designer of this battle uniform is a Halo fan. Look at their similarity. South Korea is developing new uniform and weapon for the new generation warfare.

In fact the weapon is already ready and it looks awesome. Firing 5.56mm calibre rounds and 20mm grenades from the same trigger. No need to move your arm to the next trigger For those who had handled such weapons, you should know how much time can be saved.

Video after the break.

So, what do we have on the uniform. It has a multifunction bullet proof helmet with video transmitter, GPS display and voice recognition, a backpack with command/control and Friendly or foe identification systems. A BDU that protects you from nuclear, biological and chemical attacks.

The next thing is the rifle, XK11. It is very Halo-like and it is about 6.2 kg that has thermal imaging capability and very durable in different condition. Want to know more about this weapon? Watch the video below.

Dear all,

I am terribly sorry that the site was down for a day due to some payment issue with the Host. It was purely a simple yet I took 24hrs to solve kind of issue.

BTW, TechieLobang is already ONE year old. Some of you may wonder why only so few posts for one year. The (painful) reason is because I had been suspended too many times due to CPU spiking. Finally, after some painful decision and to ease my load, I decided to refresh. It took me great pain to build up more than 1000 posts and to be removed overnight.

However, I promised that TechieLobang will be around for a long while. And I will try to focus more on local Singapore news.

I urge you to register yourself at the this page to get the latest information even before I post here. I hate spammers. I promised I will not send you email every time (even if you wanted to :)). I will only send you if I have some lobang (good stuffs) to share.

In recipocal, if you have interesting good techie news that wish to share (or you wish some information that TechieLobang should have, please email me. Or you can use a very easy way to track me. That’s twitter.

http://www.twitter.com/joeteh

FYI. Every single post will be sent to twitter. So, get updated easily!!

OK. Enough of me talking.

I hope to see you inside

I have been talking about Minority Report Style computing for such a long time. This one is the closest you can get from the movie, Minority Report by Steven Spielberg.

Video and more information after the break.

Why?? As you may know, before making the film, Minority Report, Steven Spielberg actually consulted a few scientists and etc to predict what technology will be like in that year. So, after gather these information, the film was made. Notice how similar the technology is? Hand Gesture and etc.

One of the Scientist Advisor actually went all out to come out with G-speak from oblong industries, the mind bending OS combines “gestural i/o, recombinant networking, and real-world pixels”. Complex, I think so. So, why not watch the demonstration. BTW, they replicated the gloves shown in the movie.

First, let’s watch the scene in Minority Report.

Click Here to Watch the Video.

Now, watch G-Speak. Similar??
